The Gleise 667 Solar System<\/h6>

Gleise 667 is a trinary star system nearly 23 light-years away from our solar system. Two of three stars, Gleise 667A & B, are a binary pair of orange dwarfs in close orbit together at a separation of about 13 AU (thirteen times the mean distance between the Earth and the sun).\u00a0<\/p>

The third star, Gliese 667C, is a red dwarf about 33% the size of Sol and is believed to have six planets about it, of which three may be habitable. All of these planets are within 1 AU of their star (inside the orbit of Earth)<\/p>

The defensive network of the Gliese 667 system consists of star brigades and bridge moons, shown in Table 12 below.<\/p>

A Short Future History of Gliese 667C.<\/h5>

The advent of the nuclear-powered EM Drive propulsion system made the exploration of the stars possible. From the telemetry recovered from a dozen probes, the people of the Sol chose three stars to colonize: Alpha Centauri B, Fomalhaut, and Gliese 667C. When at full speed, these \u201carc ships\u201d travel at half the speed of light. The time to accelerate to this speed (or decelerate from this speed) is approximately half a year.<\/p>

Around Gleise 667C, the small red dwarf, ten planets orbited. Three of these fell within the human habitable zone and human-like life forms developed on the second planet, GJ-66Cf. Civilization arose a hundred thousand years before Earth. Their compact solar system gave them the keys to cosmology, and they left their home planet, Gleise 667Cf or TroAire as they had named it, for the cosmos.<\/p>

Born on a planet with 1.2 G they were short and stout in their early history. The mastery of genetics changed many of their physical characteristics, and they grew to be over two meters with thick feathery hair, typically of two colors. While biologically similar to humans, they have two hearts and live for over 300 Earth years.<\/p>

The building of an empire characterized their early expansion into space, and they developed into a stern, proud, and stubborn race, lording over many planets\u2014and then they stopped. The planets they conquered, they returned to their original inhabitants and they, the vock eh-zay, returned to TroAire and the planets of their sun, LoSin, and the other stars in the trinary constellation, EpSin and NoSin. No longer requiring spaceships, the vock eh-zay travel between words using Space Gates that move them throughout the stars of the galaxy.<\/p>

They grew to be an old race and wise to the ways of other younger races. Their technologies, they protected and their curiosity, they indulged. Their society formed four sects, which they called Houses. The gifted belonged to the House of the Ar-Zay, the smallest house. The builders, laborers, and administrators belonged to the House of the Ho-Zay, the largest house. The guardians belonged to the House of the Wa-Zay. Lastly, the judges and governors belonged to the House of the Dee-Zay.<\/p>

While only twenty-three light-years away from Earth, they only visited the solar system once and moved on. This record keeping, however, is suspect. After their contact with the crew of the Earth ship Seelenreise, all further contact with humans was banned by the Dee-Zay, and they quarantined the solar system of Sol.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
